ABOUT ME

After more than 15 years as a senior leader and executive, I now serve as an independent consultant, supporting leaders and organizations in a variety of ways including leadership coaching & support, financial consulting, project management and school specific consulting services. In 2009, I joined Foundation Academy Charter School as the Associate Head of School & Middle School Principal, and became the Chief Executive Officer in 2014. In the 13 years at Foundation Academies, I led the growth of the organization as it grew by more than 550%. During this time, Foundation Academies earned the reputation as one of the top charter schools in New Jersey and earned a 92nd percentile ranking amongst all schools in New Jersey.

Prior to leading Foundation Academies, I served as the Founding Middle and High School Principal at Cap Cana Heritage School, an English immersion private school in the Dominican Republic. As a 2003 Teach for America corps member, I taught Math and Science in the Bronx and the Dominican Republic prior to becoming an administrator and was selected as Teacher of the Year in 2007. Prior to entering the education field, I worked in the financial services sector with Cambridge Associates, LLC in Boston, MA where we advised some of the nation's largest university endowments, non-profit foundations and high-net worth families.

I hold a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Accounting from the University of Pittsburgh, a Master of Science in Teaching from Fordham University, and a Master of Science in Educational Leadership from the University of Scranton.
